Sylvia L. was in Las Vegas with his family on a vacation trip, they did not plan to spend much time at the casinos but to go to shows and see the other side of Las Vegas.

But last night Sylvia was feeling lucky, so she took her purse and went to the hotel casino. She changed $500 in chips and went to the roulette table. At first she wasn’t quite sure about what to do, so she put all her money on the red.

The croupier spun the wheel, drop the ball and all the players waited anxiously. “Red 16,” called the croupier, and suddenly Sylvia had $1000. She tipped the croupier and thought: “I like that number” so she placed all her chips on the 16’s square.

“People looked at me like I was mad or something,” Sylvia L, 49, said “but I didn’t mind what they thought, I knew that the 16 was going to come up again.”

Again the process, again the anxiety and again the 16!

“I was overjoyed! I was so incredibly happy! It was amazing!” she said.

“When I went up to the room with the cash ($35,000) my husband almost fainted, it was not in our expectations to win at Vegas. We just came to have fun… and we have had now, for sure!” Sylvia laughed.
